Paola V Reyes is a skilled cinematographer based in Puerto Rico, who is deeply passionate about visual arts and communication.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Digital Film Production from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and has since then honed her skills through various workshops and experiences. Her desire to constantly improve and learn led her to complete the REDucation Workshop at Abelcine in New York City, where she gained valuable knowledge about working with RED Digital Cinema Cameras. She also attended the ARRI Alexa 35 Bootcamp at Abelcine in Los Angeles, further expanding her expertise in the camera department.
Throughout her career, Paola has worked on a diverse range of projects in the music video and commercial industries. Her client list includes major brands such as Mazda, Crunch Fitness, and NUC University, among others. She has also worked with various artists, including Jon Z, Los Rabanes, Snow the Product, Los Wálters, Epilogio and Yovngchimi, showcasing her versatility and adaptability as a cinematographer. Paola's work has been recognized at several film festivals, including the Puerto Rico Queer Film Festival, where her short documentary "Queer Royals" was nominated and won Special Mention in Best Cinematography. She also received the Director's Choice Award for Best LGBTQ+ Documentary at the Rincón International Film Festival in 2020.
